We all long for the anointing. It is discussed and desired by all who seek to minister in Christ's name. Some have invented some very unusual criteria for those who seek to have it. It sometimes seems like an elusive, even magical dynamic that we are seeking. I don't know if we can adequately define it, and I'm not sure we know when we are under its influence. Sometimes we "feel" anointed when there is little fruit, and other times we "feel" more abandoned than anointed and there is much fruit.
